คณะเทคนิคการแพทย์ มข. ร่วม (NUS) ประเทศสิงคโปร์ จัดโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา พัฒนานวัตกรรมกายภาพบำบัดเพื่อผู้สูงอายุ

คณะเทคนิคการแพทย์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาร่วมกับ Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS) ประเทศสิงคโปร์ ระหว่างวันที่ 4–11 มกราคม 2569 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาจากทั้งสองสถาบันได้ร่วมกันค้นหาโจทย์และพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางกายภาพบำบัดสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ของคณะเทคนิคการแพทย์ที่มุ่งเน้นการสร้างองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมด้านเทคนิคการแพทย์และกายภาพบำบัด เพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาวะและคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนในสังคม

ในการเปิดโครงการ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อรมรัตน์ จำเนียนทรง รองคณบดีฝ่ายบริหาร พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อัฐวุฒิ ไชยบุญเรือง ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายการต่างประเทศและดิจิทัล กล่าวต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก National University of Singapore (NUS)

โครงการดังกล่าวได้รับเกียรติจาก Assoc. Prof. Dr. James Kah, Vice-Dean (Outreach & Special Projects) และ Dr. Khoo Xiaojuan อาจารย์ประจำ Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Design and Engineering, NUS ร่วมกำกับ ดูแล และแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้กับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาตลอดระยะเวลาการดำเนินโครงการ

อาจารย์ ดร.วีระพงษ์ สุจริต ผู้รับผิดชอบโครงการ ภายใต้ฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เปิดเผยว่า ภายในโครงการมีนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2–4 จำนวน 15 คน ซึ่งลงทะเบียนเรียนรายวิชา BN4102 Gerontechnology in Ageing จาก NUS เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมร่วมกับคณาจารย์กายภาพบำบัด โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มวิชาผู้สูงอายุ ได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ทวีศักดิ์ จรรยาเจริญ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิไลรัตน์ นามวงศ์, รศ.ดร.รวยริน ชนาวิรัตน์ และอาจารย์ ดร.เพียงดาว อาจชัยธร  รวมถึงนักศึกษาหลักสูตรกายภาพบำบัด ชั้นปีที่ 3 ในรายวิชาการฝึกงานทางคลินิกกายภาพบำบัด 2

กิจกรรมภายใต้โครงการดำเนินการร่วมกับองค์กรด้านการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในจังหวัดขอนแก่น ทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน ได้แก่ ศูนย์ดูแลผู้สูงอายุฮักเนอร์สซิ่งโฮม ไอลีนไลฟ์แคร์ ศูนย์พัฒนาการจัดสวัสดิการสังคมผู้สูงอายุจังหวัดขอนแก่น และโรงพยาบาลอุบลรัตน์ โดยนักศึกษา คณาจารย์ และหน่วยงานเครือข่ายได้ร่วมกันวิเคราะห์ปัญหาในบริบทจริง และพัฒนาแนวทางแก้ไขที่เหมาะสม เพื่อต่อยอดเป็นแนวคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมด้านกายภาพบำบัดสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ

นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษายังได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับศิลปวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี และวิถีชีวิตของประชาชนในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ อันเป็นการส่งเสริมความเข้าใจข้ามวัฒนธรรม และเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบันในระดับนานาชาติ

ในวันสุดท้ายของการดำเนินโครงการ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จุรีรัตน์ ดาดวง คณบดีคณะเทคนิคการแพทย์ ได้กล่าวปิดกิจกรรม โดยแสดงความชื่นชมในความตั้งใจและความร่วมมือของคณาจารย์ นักศึกษา และหน่วยงานเครือข่ายทุกภาคส่วน พร้อมเน้นย้ำว่าโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาดังกล่าวเป็นต้นแบบของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงประสบการณ์จริง ควบคู่กับการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีสมรรถนะสูง มีวิสัยทัศน์สากล และมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน


Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, KKU, Collaborates with NUS on Student Exchange Program to Develop Physiotherapy Innovation for the Elderly

The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Khon Kaen University (KKU), organized a student exchange program in collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, during January 4–11, 2026.

The program aimed to provide students from both institutions with opportunities to identify challenges and develop physiotherapy innovations for the elderly, aligning with the AMS's vision of "advancing knowledge and innovations in medical technology and physiotherapy to promote well-being in society".

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst.Prof.Dr.Amonrat Jumnainsong, Vice Dean for Administration, and Asst.Prof.Dr.Attawut Chaibunruang, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Digital who welcomed faculty members and students from NUS.

The program was honored by the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr.James Kah, Vice-Dean (Outreach & Special Projects), and Dr.Khoo Xiaojuan, faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Design and Engineering, NUS, who supervised and exchanged knowledge with AMS staff and students throughout the program.

Dr.Wiraphong Sucharit, program coordinator from the School of Physical Therapy and the International Relations Division, revealed that the program involved 15 students from years 2–4 who were enrolled in the course BN4102 Gerontechnology in Aging from NUS. They participated in activities with AMS physical therapy lecturers, especially the elderly care group, including Prof.Dr.Taweesak Janyacharoen (Head of School of Physical Therapy), Asst.Prof.Dr.Wilairat Namwong, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Raoyrin Chanavirut, and Dr.Piangdaw Adchaithor, as well as third-year students from the PT program in the Clinical Practice in Physical Therapy 2 course.

Activities in the program were conducted in collaboration with elderly care organizations in Khon Kaen Province, from both public and private sectors, including Huk Nursing Home, Aleen Life Care, the Social Welfare Development Center for the Elderly of Khon Kaen Province, and Ubonrat Hospital. Students, AMS staff, and network organizations jointly analyzed real-world problems and developed appropriate solutions to further advance innovative approaches in physiotherapy for the elderly.

Additionally, students learned about arts, culture, traditions, and way of life of people in the Northeastern region of Thailand, promoting cross-cultural understanding and strengthening international academic cooperation between institutions.

On the final day of the program, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Jureerut  Daduang, Dean of the Faculty of AMS, delivered closing remarks, expressing appreciation for the dedication and cooperation of faculty members, students, and network organizations from all sectors. She emphasized that such student exchange programs serve as models for experiential learning combined with establishing international academic cooperation networks, which will lead to producing highly competent graduates with a global vision and sustainable social responsibility.
